Work Shadowing
TBWA\ The Disruption® Company
experience documented.

where creativity Transcends boundaries

We, as Singaporeans, often tend to think within the box, rigidly adhering to common guidelines.
TBWA Singapore disrupts this train of monotony, by constantly analysing new market trends, and adapting swiftly to it. The flexibility of TBWA's modus operandi broadens the purview of businesses all over the world, concurrently building a reputation for themselves as a renowned and competitive advertising company.
Some of the clients that we work with include: Singapore Airlines, Standard Chartered Bank, Singapore Tourism Board and Spotify.

Morning Cup of Joe
The coffee machines here are really good, such that it became a routine for me to get a cup every day.
Themed Meeting Rooms
The themed meeting rooms were designed after word fonts, which had given every room a unique style.
Fun!
TBWA has various fun occasions such as 'bring your pet to work day'. The above is a picture of my mentor's dog.
Award Showroom
This Walkway connects both open-space offices of the HR department and the Strategy department.

Moments Captured
Dedication. Expertise. Passion.
Highlights of my duration at TBWA.

The Pantry
My favourite part of the office. I made it a routine to walk over to the pantry everyday to get myself some snacks and a packet drink.

Open Office Layout
I enjoy the convenience and the accessibility of being able to lean over and talk to my coworkers. I can really see the appeal of this "Open" concept as it is not only cost-efficient, but it also encourages collaboration and interaction.

Facilities
We were provided with Macbooks to work with. The tables at which we worked at were also really spacious, so the "Open" seating concept didn't feel claustrophobic.

Aesthetics
TBWA has worked with large agencies such as Singapore Tourism Board (STB). They have given extra cable cars to TBWA, which were not only used as decorations, but also utilised as a meeting pod, where discussions can take place.

The People
I am extremely thankful for the mentors that I had. They guided me flawlessly in terms of learning the know-hows of their job scope, yet not in a hand-held way. I was able to learn independently and was given the freedom to ask and explore different aspects of their jobs that I was interested about.

The Opportunities
The countless learning opportunities was the cherry on top of it all. In retrospect, I had grown a lot from this experience, especially in terms of learning how to network, and gaining hard skills (Excel).
We are creative renegades. We take risks.
We rewrite rules.
